Nexhmije and Enver Hoxha (1946).

We are deeply saddened to report that today, February 26, 2020, at the age of 99, Comrade Nexhmije Hoxha has died.  In a lifetime that spanned nearly a century, Comrade Nexhmije was at the forefront of some of the most titanic struggles of our movement.   A partisan fighter during World War II, she led the struggle for the complete emancipation of Albanian women from centuries of feudal-patriarchic oppression.  Comrade Nexhmije was a key figure in the unmasking of Khrushchevite revisionism and the defense of Marxism-Leninism.  Fighter, educator, revolutionary, Nexhmije Hoxha was all that was best in our movement.  The American Party of Labor bows its head in grief and raises its fist in salute to this most exemplary of communists.
