Statement from Red Youth Rising | March 29, 2026–
Today, millions of Americans are taking to the streets across the country to express their utter contempt towards the Trump regime and its fascist agenda. While today’s protests are an incredible show of strength of America’s working class, it is up to us, the revolutionary youth, to embolden the masses to pair this strength with revolutionary political consciousness.
Today we say no kings, no cops and no capitalists. We recognize that the political oligarchy in power today has been put there by the capitalist class, and that the American state has always served the interest of capital. We recognize that the fascistic deployment of ICE is a continuation of the hyper militarization of local cops and federal authorities, and that the abolition of ice also necessitates the abolition of police. We recognize that the genocide in Gaza and the war with Iran are being conducted for capitalists profit, and that to end war is to overthrow capitalism.
As a result, we also recognize that we must combine days of protest like today with mass strikes, the shutting down sites of military production, and the establishment of mutual aid networks which make abolition possible.
Only with the complete overthrow of the capitalist system will we be free from right wing political reactionaries.
We must fight for a better tomorrow today – onwards to Revolution!
