
October 6 is World Cerebral Palsy Day.
Because cerebral palsy is diagnosed in childhood, some people think it can be outgrown or that it can get “better” over time. But it’s a permanent disability from birth, and it can encompass a wide array of disabling symptoms that each vary in severity.
No two people with CP are the same. People with cerebral palsy need support specifically tailored to their needs, and the one universal need they all have is for ongoing access to high quality healthcare.
