The American Party of Labor, emphatically and in the strongest possible terms, condemns the fascist/antisemitic attack that claimed the lives of eleven worshipers at the Tree of Life – Or L’Simcha Congregation synagogue in Pittsburgh on October 27^th.

The responsibility for this attack, the latest in an increasing number of similar murderous outrages against Jews, African-Americans, Muslims, LGBTQ+ people, and other marginalized and oppressed peoples lies squarely with the Donald Trump administration, which has, in word and deed encouraged neo-Nazi and white supremacist violence in this country.

The American Party of Labor demands justice for the victims.  We demand that the perpetrator, known neo-Nazi Robert Bowers be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law; and, if found guilty, sentenced to the severest possible punishment.

To fascists, racists, and antisemites we say:  Take heed.  The popular fury, once unleashed cannot and will not be restrained.

To the victims of racist and fascist violence we say:  Take heart.  The people’s victory will be your vengeance.
