Roberto Enrique Pua Fernandez, affectionately known as El Viejo Luis (“Old Timer Luis”) leader and founding member of the Communist Party of Colombia (Marxist-Leninist) and the People’s Liberation Army (Ejercito Popular de Liberacion — EPL) of Colombia has passed away.  Comrade Pua was also a leading and founding member of the International Conference of Marxist-Leninist Parties and Organizations (ICMLPO).

We offer our deepest and most heart-felt condolences to the Colombian communists, the Colombian workers, and to all the marginalized and oppressed peoples of Colombia on the loss of the great and respected fighter for humanity.

Hasta siempre, Viejo Luis!  You example is immortal and your cause will be victorious.
