Central Committee of the Workers’ Communist Party of France (PCOF) | Jan. 3, 2026 | Translated for the Red Phoenix by Mike M.–

We strongly condemn the U.S. military aggression against Venezuela. Trump and his administration have claimed to have arrested and deported the Venezuelan president and to have bombed Caracas and other cities. This is an unjustifiable act of war against a country that does not threaten the U.S. and it should be condemned as such.
Trump has been attempting to overthrow Maduro’s regime for months in order to install women and men ready to offer him the country’s riches.
The shoddy pretext of the “fight against drug trafficking” brandished by Trump, the leader of the country which constitutes the largest consumer market and where dirty trafficking money piles up in banks, cannot stand in the face of the reality of his goals: pillage, control of wealth, and domination.
Despite the nature of a regime that heads a state, it is up to the people to decide their own future, and not an imperialist power, especially. Today, like yesterday, U.S. imperialism has amply demonstrated that it is the enemy of the peoples of Venezuela, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
Protests are taking place in a number of countries to condemn the U.S. imperialist aggression against Venezuela.
We are calling on all to participate in the ones organized in France.
We express our solidarity with the people of Venezuela, to the democratic and revolutionary forces of that country, and to our comrades of our sister party, the Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Venezuela, which is fighting for national and social liberation of the Venezuelan people.
