The Party of Labour of Iran (Toufan) sends its warmest fraternal greetings to the 5^th Congress of APL.

Though we are not present at this event, we share your joyous moment, chant with you against the imperialist-capitalist rulers, and march with you for socialism. We hug the militant comrades of the APL. The holding of the congress of a working class party is a significant and historical event in the life of the party

Dear Comrades,

We can hardly find a single day that the imperialist, Zionists, and their allies do not commit a crime against the people of the world. The starvation and slaughter of the people of Gaza and the 75-year Zionist violence and occupation of Palestine, the aggressions against the people of Yemen and other countries are continuing. Every few months, the U.S. imperialists imposes a new round of vicious economic sanctions against the people of Iran. The U.S. President Biden together with Israeli Zionists have waged a vicious campaign of terror and false propaganda against Iran, carrying out terrorist actions inside Iran, and backing every rotten and sellout Iranian opposition. The U.S. imperialist aggressions in Latin America have intensified. The criminal conduct of the U.S. in Haiti has resulted in what we are witnessing!

At the same time, the glorious resistance of Palestinian people is continuing, the people of Yemen are resisting the aggression and bombardment of their country, the people of Syria are continuing to defeat the imperialist strategy aimed at the destruction of the independence and territorial integrity of Syria. The communist and revolutionary forces in Latin America and other places are intensifying their revolutionary work to expose their governments and their U.S. backers, marching forward to cut the ties with Yankee imperialism.

Dear Comrades,

In Iran, the political repression of the masses by the capitalist regime of the Islamic Republic and the implementation of the neo-liberal policies together with the imperialist and Zionist threats, conspiracies, aggression, and economic sanctions against our people have created a very harsh condition for the working people. But the people of Iran are waging a resolute struggle against both internal and external enemies. The Iranian workers fight for their basic rights of forming independent trade unions and are waging powerful strikes against their exploiters backed by the capitalist regime of the Islamic Republic. As history has shown, the masses are able to defend themselves, to defeat the aggressors, and to establish new orders.

The Party of Labour of Iran (Toufan) is confident that the decisions of your 5th Congress will outline the paths of the struggle to strengthen, expand, and advance the Party in the struggle for liberation from class exploitation. We wish you success in the work of the Congress.
