Comrade Carlos Alvarado Santana has died. Comrade Carlos was a member of the Political Bureau of the Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Ecuador (PCMLE) and First Secretary of the PCMLE’s Guayas Provincial Committee. Comrade Carlos is survived by his children and grandchildren. The American Party of Labor offers its deepest condolences to Comrade Carlos’ family, comrades, and all the working and exploited peoples of Ecuador, South America, and the world. The toilers and Marxist-Leninists of the world have lost a champion, but Comrade Carlos’ cause and struggle are immortal.
