Dear Comrades,
You will be sad to hear that Iris Cremer, the long-time secretary of the UK Stalin Society, passed away peacefully yesterday evening after a short illness. She was 70. Her contribution to the world revolutionary movement was not only weighty but lasted over 45 years. She gave her all to serving the people and the cause of proletarian revolution, as indeed did her husband Godfrey who died two years ago.
The next meeting of the London Stalin Society is on 27 April and messages of condolence will be gratefully received.
With comradely regards,
Ella Rule
